NexTier
Trust & Privacy

Your growth is personal. We treat it that way.

Personal development means trusting an app with sensitive things — your health, money, relationships, and reflections. Here is how NexTier protects that, in plain English. The formal detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Your data isn't the product

We do not sell your personal data, and we don't run an ad business off it. NexTier is funded by subscriptions, not by monetizing you.

Privacy-first analytics

We measure our site with our own first-party, aggregate-only counters — no third-party trackers, no analytics cookies, and no per-person browsing records. Visitor counts use a daily-rotating anonymous hash that is discarded within 48 hours, and we honor your browser's "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals.

PII is redacted before AI sees it

Before anything is sent to an AI provider, automated filters work to strip personally identifiable information. No filter is perfect, so we're honest that it's best-effort — and every AI data request is auditable.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Connections use TLS, and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. Our AI providers commit not to train their models on your data.

Coaches see a pseudonym — and only what you share

When the human-coach marketplace opens, coaches see you under a pseudonym plus exactly the goals, assessments, or progress you choose to share. Consent is granular, and you can revoke it at any time.

Export or delete — yourself, anytime

Download a complete copy of your data as JSON whenever you want, and delete your account on your own. Deletion erases your personal content; we keep only what law requires.

What the AI can — and can't — do

The AI coach helps you reflect, plan, and stay consistent, drawing (with consent) on what you already track. It is designed to support your wellbeing, not to maximize your screen time — and it is not a substitute for professional care.

NexTier supports personal development. It is not medical care, therapy, or crisis support. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
